SBB – October 5, 2009 Newsletter #5

Greetings readers, authors, friends and passers-by...

...and welcome to October. September flew by in a whirlwind of signings, events and book printings.

Last month we announced our first publication under our new imprint Laughing Cactus Press, Poetry Floats by Jim Wilson. This month we'd like to invite you to visit Jim at his webpage Jamesraywilson.com.

September brought three new titles to the SBB family:
~ from Laughing Cactus Press Bluebonnets, Boots and Buffalo Bones by Sheryl Nelms. Join Sheryl as she shows us wisps of heartland prairie in her succinct and picturesque style. Her poetry takes us on a journey through Midwest farms and West Texas oilfields.
~ from Silver Boomer Books Song of County Roads by Ginny Greene. Wonderfully witty, heartwarming and giggle inducing tales of one family's life and how these city folk found their rural footing.
~ from Silver Boomer Books, the long-awaited third anthology This Path. This anthology fulfills the promise of more to come. The road began with Silver Boomers - a collection of poetry and prose by and about baby boomers, continued with Freckles to Wrinkles and reaches its destination with This Path. These pages mark the trails stamped out and the journey imprinted upon those who write from around the country and a few places beyond.
Find all of our titles on Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com and SBB's website.

A couple months ago we told you how to find Karen and Barbara on Facebook - now you can also find Becky and Ginny - you can also find Barbara and Karen on Linkedin.

SBB author Terri Kirby Erickson has a new book of poetry out. Telling Tales of Dusk, released September 1, 2009 by Press53. Terri's poem "Druid Hill Drive" which appears in her book was published in Silver Boomers - a collection of poetry and prose by and about baby boomers. Visit Terri on her website: Terri Kirby Erickson. or email Terri at tkerickson@triad.rr.com.

Thanks for reading!
